Volunteer Opportunities

Varsity Team Dinners – Varsity dinners are held every Thursday night in the cafeteria at the school.  These dinners provide an opportunity for the team to build camaraderie while enjoying dinner prior to their Friday game.  These meals are provided and served by the parents. Sub-varsity Team Meals – Sub-varsity team meals are provided each Thursday prior to the Freshman and Junior Varsity games.  Meal packages from Chick Fil A can be purchased by parents for their players at the beginning of each season. Merchandise – We will need help selling at all levels during football season.  For more information or to volunteer, please contact our Merchandise Volunteer at merchandise@crfootball.org.

Sponsorship & Fundraising – the Cedar Ridge Football Booster Club welcomes support from persons and businesses that are interested in becoming a sponsor of the Cedar Ridge Football Team. This support comes in many different forms: monetary donations, business/spirit ads, donations of goods for certain events, donations of facilities for certain events, and fundraisers that benefit both the business and the booster club.  For corporate sponsorship, field banners and website recognition are provided for our corporate sponsors.  Sponsorship forms can be downloaded HERE.  For more information or to become a sponsor of the Cedar Ridge Football Booster Club, please contact our Sponsorship and Fundraising Volunteer at fundraising@crfootball.org.

Homecoming – We will need volunteers for the Homecoming parade that occurs the Wednesday prior to the game.

Banquets – At the completion of each season, a sub-varsity and varsity banquet is held to celebrate all the teams and their successes for the season.  These are two separate banquets catered by an outside vendor and tickets are sold through the Cedar Ridge Raider Football website (players eat free). Tunnel Crew –  At the beginning of each Varsity game and at the beginning of the third quarter, the tunnel crew is responsible for ensuring the inflatable tunnel is up and the “smoke” is running for the Varsity players as they take the field.  The tunnel crew is typically made up of males and provides an opportunity for fathers, uncles, etc., to volunteer and support the team.  For more information or to volunteer, please contact our Josh W.  to Volunteer at membership@crfootball.org.
